1994 – Establishment of Helmut Kreutz Portugal, with the main purpose of gathering the technical capability and quality of Helmut Kreutz GmbH’s products, the latest established in Germany, in Haiger-Langenaubach, with 50 years in the knowledge of particle grinding and control, with a vast experience and knowledge of the portuguese market, on behalf of the project’s investors. In this way, HKP was built as a joint-venture between german and portuguese capital.

1997 – The company, up until now highly focused on the Ceramic Industry, decides to broaden their range of products, re-enforcing their structure on comercial and technical levels, and also by securing international contracts with world-wellknown companies, some of them leaders in their own sectors.

1998 – Beginning of the pigment production process.

2000 – Besides the continuous effort to keep its position in the Ceramic Industry, it holds quite some interesting share in several industries, such as Plastics, Polyurethans and Coating/Paints.

2001- It starts its export market plan.
